De Spaanse singer-songwriter en gitarist Amancio Prada uit Dehesas is al een man op leeftijd. Zijn eerste album dateert uit 1974. Hij studeerde o.a. aan de Sorbonne in Parijs. Amancio voelde zich o.a. geinspireerd door de poëzie van Agustin Garcia Calvo en Rosalia de Castro. Inmiddels heeft hij zo’n vijfendertig albums uitgebracht, trad over de hele wereld op en ontving diverse prijzen voor zijn werk.
