Deze keer zet ik de Amerikaanse singer-songwriter, en multi-instrumentaliste Beth Hart uit LA in de spots. Beth deed als jong meisje al podiumervaring op op de LA High School door op te treden op het open podium. Met haar tweede solo-album “Screaming for my supper” kreeg ze meer bekendheid. Ze ging samenwerken met gitarist Joe Bonamassa en later Jeff Beck. In Nederland heeft ze een groot aantal trouwe fans. Met haar bekende gruizige stem maakt ze een mix van bluesrock, jazz en folk. Ze worstelde met een drugsverslaving en een bi-polaire stoornis, maar daar heeft ze zich aardig uit weten te werken.
This time, I put LA-based American singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Beth Hart in the spotlight. Beth gained stage experience as a young girl at LA High School by performing on the open stage. With her second solo album “Screaming for my supper”, she gained more fame. She went on to collaborate with guitarist Joe Bonamassa and later Jeff Beck. In the Netherlands, she has a large number of loyal fans. With her well-known gritty voice, she makes a mix of blues rock, jazz and folk. She struggled with a drug addiction and bi-polar disorder, but she has managed to work her way out of these.
