Flamencozangeres Luna Zegers uit Amsterdam heeft wel een heel bijzondere achtergrond. Geboren in een muzikale familie in Nederland, studeert ze in 2010 af aan het conservatorium in de studie jazz-zang. Na een studie periode in de USA en India wordt ze uiteindelijk gegrepen door de flamenco-zang. Ze woont en werkt een tijdje in Sevilla en Barcelona, waar ze als eerste buitenlander ooit wordt aangenomen voor de opleiding flamenco-zang aan de “Escuela Superior de Musica de Cataluna”. Inmiddels heeft ze het prachtige album “Entre dos Mundos” uitgebracht en is ze gestart met de theatervoorstelling “Lorca – Tussen licht en Duister”.
Flamenco singer Luna Zegers from Amsterdam has a very special background. Born into a musical family in the Netherlands, she graduated from the conservatory in 2010 in jazz vocal studies. After a study period in the USA and India, she is eventually captivated by flamenco singing. She lives and works for a while in Seville and Barcelona, where she is the first foreigner ever to be accepted to study flamenco singing at the “Escuela Superior de Musica de Cataluna”. Meanwhile, she has released the beautiful album “Entre dos Mundos” and started the theatre performance “Lorca – Between Light and Dark”.
