Overdag is Maarten Russchen werkzaam in de advocatuur en ’s avond en in het weekend staat hij met zijn band op het podium. Ook al laat hij zich inspireren door bekende blues muzikanten, zijn muziek is een combinatie van blues, jazz en eigen liedjes in het singer-songwriter genre. In 2016 bracht hij zijn EP “Better Pack Your Bags” uit. “Straight Line” is de titel van zijn debuutalbum. Maarten speelde op diverse podia en festivals.
